ALBANY, N.Y. - A New York City teenager fell out the window of a moving bus while using the restroom Tuesday and landed on the New York State Thruway.

State police said Jose Gonzales, 17, lost his balance when the chartered bus swerved to change lanes. It was unclear how fast the bus was going.
Gonzales was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment. Police said he'll recover.

Gonzales fell onto the shoulder of the thruway near Exit 23 southbound.
He had been at the Capitol on Tuesday to lobby with a group on the issue of AIDS.

Sorry it's been so long

So I realized today that it's been almost a month since I have written. My GOSH! That's a long freaking time. So, I am going to write today.

I took my test, and PASSED! I was so excited, so relieved. More than anything, just relieved that I don't have to find a new job. YAY! (at least for a few more months I am safe). My next test is next week. I am not that nervous about it yet, but I know I will be when it gets closer. I have 3 chances again on this one, and I don't think I will do it the first time, so I will really try for the second try. I mean, I will do my best and get whatever score I deserve the first time, but I just know I won't pass the first time. So, the second time will be in March, crossing fingers that one works out.

For now, still on the paperwork team. It's good, though. They have me working my butt off. I feel really good about my job and the work that I do here. I feel productive, and like I really do belong here. And it helps that I get complimented at least once a day, sometimes from HEAD HEAD Haunchos, like my managers' managers' manager.

So I went to Jamaica for Vacation. Actually, I went for my "honeymoon". I was supposed to go to Jamaica with my ex for vacation when he got back from Iraq. And since we split, I wanted to go with some girl friends. So I went with a good friend of mine, and a mutual friend of ours, and her friend. Man, did we have a BLAST!!! When I get the "jamaica journal" ready, I will definately publish it here. It's so great, and you can tell how great of a time we had by the journal. Yay!! :)

So Jenn and Evan's wedding is this weekend. How great is that going to be? I am one of the personal attendants. It's going to be so wonderful - spending time with Jenn and Evan, seeing all my old coworkers and friends again. Going to a wedding. *sigh* I am SO excited! I was thinking of inviting my ex to come with, because we used to love to go to weddings together, and it's at the same church that he attends, AND I already invited him before we broke up... I don't know, though. It might be really akward. I haven't seen him since July. I have changed SO much. I know he has changed probably as much. I don't know - I guess if I see him, I see him. If I don't, I don't. Not going to fret about it.

I have so much to do this week to prepare for the weekend, though. The best (BEST) Carmel rolls that I have ever tasted are down here, and I am going to bring some up with me for whoever wants some. Jenn I am sure will want one! But then, I still have to do laundry, get my hair highlighted, buy some dresses, shoes, etc. Ack, so much to do, so little time! :)

Anyway. I am going to get going. I am sure i will write more later. Have a great day! Talk to you later! :)
